REUBEN K. AHWIRENG
Director of Finance and Operations
Reuben is responsible for the day to day finance and operations of Ensign College of Public Health. He ensures that the various parts of campus operations work together coherently to make Ensign College function smoothly. He directs the work of the Finance and Accounting, Events and Hospitality, Facilities Management and Information and Communications Technology functions of the Institution. His work includes developing institutional and project budgets, financial models and providing management and financial reports on the operations of the campus. Some of his efforts are into developing the revenue-generating activities of the campus such as hospitality and events organizing. Reuben received his Master of Science in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School.
PATRICK KUMA
Academic Registrar/ Human Resource Manager
Patrick is the Academic Registrar and also the Human Resource Manager. As Head of Academic Registry, he coordinates and monitors the academic administration of the institution including; admissions, administration of academic records, examinations, certification, academic ceremonies and student support systems of the College. He also serves as the link between the institution and other sister institutions for affiliation, cooperation and accreditation purposes. As Head of Human Resource Division, he generally assists in the day-to-day administration of the College, interpreting the laws, rules and regulations affecting the conditions of service; advising on them and implementing matters concerning staff welfare, rights and privileges. Patrick earned his Master’s degree in Management and Administration from the University of Ghana.
STEPHEN AMAKYE
Lands and Facilities Manager
Stephen as the Lands and Facilities Manager is responsible for developing a system for maintenance. He ensures the facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards. Stephen has an electrical and civil technician engineering background, twenty-seven years working experience, with a commitment to excellence and an outstanding track record of success in the management of building facilities. He is a product of Ghana Secondary Technical SchooI. Takoradi, Takoradi Polytechnic, Accra Polytechnic and Olivetti Institute (Elea Italy)
VENATUS KWADWO FOSU
College Librarian
Venatus Kwadjo Fosu is the College Librarian. His work at the College entails the provision of information services to support teaching, learning, research and knowledge dissemination activities of the College. He obtained his M. Phil. in Library Studies degree from the University of Ghana.
FELIX ASEM
IT Manager
His work is focused on building and maintaining a contemporary Cyberinfrastructure, including servers, database, storage, network, voice, video, and data infrastructure, which effectively supports the research, education, and administration of Ensign College of Public Health.
He earned his Master of Philosophy (MPhil.) in Information Systems Dynamics at the University of Bergen, Norway (1999). He is also a member of Information Technology Association of Ghana (ITAG).
SAMUEL LUMOR
Assistant Academic Registrar
Samuel assists in planning, developing and implementation of academic policies, procedures and practices for student admissions, examinations, graduation, curricular requirements and records. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
RITA OSEI-GYAMERA
Asst. Human Resource Manager
Her work is to help accomplish HR-related tasks by performing administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs in the areas of employees recruitment, workers compensation and benefits, employee relations and policy drafting. She obtained her MBA (Human Resource Management) from the Australia Institute of Business, Australia.
TABITHA
Administrative Assistant
An Administrative Assistant and serves as the front desk staff. She receives visitors, answers their enquiries and directs them to the appropriate offices. Tabitha provides student aid services and assists the Academic Registry and the Human Resource unit in all Administrative duties. She graduated from the University of Ghana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.
