Kyle W. Gay

Kyle is currently a Vice President at Kensington Capital Ventures, the investment arm of Kensington Capital Holdings, a single family office based on Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Prior to joining Kensington, Kyle was an investment associate in the private equity group of Norwest Venture Partners, an investment arm of Wells Fargo managing $6.2B in assets. He primarily focused on growth equity and leverage buyout investments in healthcare, including healthcare services, healthcare IT, medical devices and digital health.

Prior to Norwest, Kyle was an investment associate with HGGC, a middle market private equity firm in Palo Alto managing $4.3B in assets. He focused on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and portfolio company development across a wide range of industries.

Kyle began his career as an investment analyst with Sandbox Industries in Chicago where he focused on healthcare as a member of the BlueCross BlueShield Venture Fund team managing $800M on behalf of 28 BCBS health insurance firms.

Kyle obtained a bachelor of arts degree in economics and statistics, magna cum laude, from the Love School of Business at Elon University. Kyle also had the opportunity to live in Ghana for four years in his youth and is proud to have completed his International Baccalaureate diploma while attending Lincoln Community School in Accra.

Outside of work Kyle is a member of the Boston board of Camp Kesem, a U.S. charity focused on supporting children of parents with cancer.
