Ensign College of Public Health Holds 3rd Congregation

The Ensign College of Public has held its 3rd Congregation for the conferment of Master of Public Health degree.
In his welcome address, Prof Stephen C. Alder, President of the school commended the graduands for their assiduousness throughout the many challenging facets of their 2-year programme.
The President also touted Ensign’s resolute commitment to improving the quality of life of people and their communities through a principled approach by engaging in “equitable partnerships with individuals, communities and practitioners”.

The event was graced by several high-profile personalities including the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare, Prof Tsiri Agbenyagah, Founder and Board Chair, Dr Lynette Gay, Vice Board Chair, Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa and representative of the Vice Chancellor- Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Students who distinguished themselves were also recognized and presented with awards.
The award for the Overall Best Student went to Portia Afi, while Doris Dokua Okyere received the award for the Best Thesis. Nahashon Chiakwuor Kali received the Community Service Award.

The 26 students represent the third cohort of students who have graduated since the school’s inception in 2014.
